Should I play Skyrim again? Haven't played in 1 1/2 yrs and got no DLC or mods

Bought the game on day one but kept on restarting then finally got bored of the game. I have no mods or DLC btw.

Kind of sounds like the fast route to getting bored with any game...Much less one that starts quite as slow as Skyrim.

Since it's been a long time how can I tell if I downloaded the official hd texture pack? I think I remember I downloaded it but it says I don't. I think I downloaded a mod or two, how do I find if I did or not?

I guess I wanted to try out different classes as well as having a "perfect" game and I screwed up a good amount of times.

Seems a bit odd....Honestly, I just kind of went for it and took it as it came. Didn't really stop to think if anything I've done thus far is consequential or if I was somehow missing out. Trying to go for some "Perfect" game in this sort of title *will* likely lead to some form of dismay.
