Can you turn of led fan lights?

#1namesadamPosted 8/24/2013 11:43:28 PM
I had to move my computer into my bedroom, and the fan LEDs are really bothering me when I go to sleep. I put a towel over it at night, but I don't think that's really good for the computer. Is there a way to turn of the LEDs on the fans?

Why don't you just turn the computer off at night?

Why would you turn them off? That's where the gaming power comes from.

I have a USB hub that has this blue LED on it that stays lit 24/7 even when I turn the computer off (unless I turn it off at the switch in the back). I just kinda got used to having a blue nightlight I guess...though it doesn't shine directly in my eyes or anything... It's funny (because I didn't plan it that way) but all my LEDs are blue... blue LED on the USB hub, Blue LED on the keyboard, Blue LED on my mic...

the power lights on my monitors are red though (awww).

Do what I do, wear a sleep mask. I'm not kidding. I need it dark when I sleep, and sometimes I'm up all night with back pain and I can't fall asleep until 8am when the sun is pouring into my room. It does the trick.
