How well can I run The Witcher 2?

#1refmonPosted 8/25/2013 3:46:05 PM
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000,2 Core processors, DirectX 11
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHZ 2.50 GHZ
8.00GB RAM
64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor

I'd want to keep a solid 60 fps but I would be okay with 30, I honestly don't even the highest settings that I could run it on.

low resolution, lowest settings possible, maybe you can run it. Maybe

This ^ and don't expect great frames. The Witcher 2 is a very demanding game to run. It stresses powerful desktop cards, let alone integrated graphics

I'd be surprised if you can even get it to run.

For reference, I can run it at 15-30 on my laptop in the sig. Weaker CPU, but similar/slightly weaker GPU. This is on low at like 800x480 or something.

Very low settings, very low resolution, and you may be able to pull off an acceptable frame rate, although even then I doubt you'll be able to get 60 FPS. It's going to look pretty bad though FWIW - TW2's graphics do not cope well with non-native resolution (mostly because of the foliage.)
