Surely it should be casual gaming and formal gaming.

Or it could just be gaming.
Yea. Let's do that.

The gaming community has way too much e-dick measuring. Let's just play games and like what we like. --- http://www.last.fm/user/akuma634

Tuxedo with port? More like pretentious gaming. Three-piece suit with scotch is where it's at.

Gaming? I just call it raging.

I actually put some effort into a system that breaks this down
Casual vs. Neutral vs. Formal Softcore vs. Neutral vs. Hardcore
casual and formal being the approach you take to gaming and soft/hardcore being the intensity you put
so if you just play randomly and spontanously you may be casual, but if you set aside specific time and really get into it then you may be formal
then if you just play without much effort or without seeking self improvement to a notable degree, you may be softcore, but if you really try hard and try to focus on doing really well then you may be hardcore
so you can be both casual and hardcore in this system --- backloggery.com/Garquille "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." ~ A. Einstein
