If it's capped at 60 isn't a minimum of 54 good? I assume it's only going that low because it's being pushed below 60 so it stays at 60 average.

My benchmarks on sleeping dogs looks similar. I assumed it was supposed to be that way.

I doubt having it capped means it'll be consistently 60 frames 100% of the time.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

Ah okay, so the Extreme level processor overclocked at 4.2GHz is really what's making the difference in all this? Makes sense.

All that aside, is my benchmark reasonable for my set-up?

I warn you Paul. If whoever that is hears something - or even if I hear something and think he may have heard - I will kill him, or them, then you, then myself.

The 7990 is an excellent card; I have a 670 and I get a constant 60 on 2560x1440, so your card is definitely overkill for that resolution. Turn off v-sync, it caps your fps to your monitor's refresh rate (60hz).

Getting 54 fps on your benchmark is probably from loading. I keep my fps up at the top of my screen and whenever I enter a new area or something like that it has to load everything for a second, causing my fps to go down really low for a millisecond and shoot back up.
