TC, you skipped right over this post. I don't know if this is it, but there is a program that will allow you to back patch the game. I used it to take my install down a patch so I could get PlugY to work properly with MXL.

Oh man, didn't even realize. Will this work even with the latest version of the game (still 1.13d, I'm guessing)?

uh, I'm pretty sure you can download each patch from blizzard. I remember downloading each patch file and checking out what the skills were like in each patch.

I used it maybe a year ago, so I would assume yes.
