Razer Kraken, Logitech G230, or the Plantronics 780 headsets all for around 80$

Out of those I'd pick a Kraken.

i bought a refurb one off Woot a while ago and have been pretty satisfied with it. I do use it through a sound blaster zx that has an integrated headphone amp, though, so I'm sure that helps.

I ended up getting the Razer Tiamat 2.2- I had everything I wanted and I liked the look.

Meh, the dude had a gift card to Best Buy and needed a headset. If he's happy then problem solved.

So you wouldn't pay 80$

Oh, for some reason I was thinking they were $129 full retail

Im returning my 780s today actually. They have audio issues galore according to their forums. I noticed my sound in game would get really distorted. Also the software is garbage it interferes with so much stuff. Installed iTunes wont open. Uninstalled works flawlessly.

I have a razer naga epic mouse and now a Tiamat 2.2- I am very happy with razer as a company. They always make me feel like a kid opening a Christmas present they way their products are packaged and the care and design they put into it. The naga epic is hands down my favorite mouse ever- expensive but great.

I am very happy with the Tiamat 2.2? And for 90$ I think that their not that expensive. I paid 170 for TB x41 and I think they sucked
