As my brother's birthday is coming up. And he got a gaming computer from our parents, Anyway, I'm looking to order him some stuff for his computer such as accessories and what not, but I'm not exactly sure what he would like or what is useful as I am more of a console gamer. Any suggestions are welcome, from games, to software, to hardware, to gadgets, etc... If it helps he's only 14, so nothing too out there, and I'm on a bit of a budget... say in the price range of $50-$150. Thanks!

Maybe some good speakers if he doesn't have that already?

Does he have a gaming mouse? If not, see if there's a specific model he wants. I don't use a gaming mouse, so I can't recommend any in particular.

I really like the one I use (the Logitech M570), but it's not specifically for gaming. You move a smooth trackball (I think it's plastic - it's certainly not rubber or whatever material the ancient type used) with your thumb to move the cursor on screen instead of moving the whole mouse. It has forward and back buttons as well as the left and right ones and a clickable scroll wheel, and you can customize the input for all 5 with the software Logitech provides, as well as scroll speed and acceleration. It seems like it's pretty niche compared to standard mice though. Worth a shot, I say.

If all else fails, get him a $50 Steam gift card or two. Can't go wrong with that for a PC gamer.

Get him a prepaid credit card, so he can get a ton of games from the Humble Bundle sales.

3rd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 quad-core processor [3.4GHz, 8MB Shared Cache]
Liquid Cooling Solution
2GB Nvidia GTX680 [Dual Bracket; DVI, HDMI, DP & VGA via adapter]
8GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [2 DIMMs]
2TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive
No secondary hard drive
Blu-ray player & SuperMulti DVD burner
15-in-1 memory card reader, 4 x USB 2.0 (front), 2 x USB 3.0 (top)
No TV Tuner
Beats Audio (tm) -- integrated studio quality sound

It's a prebuilt, against my suggestions, but I believe it's fine.

The gaming mouse is a good suggestion, I'll look into some. and does anyone use a controller at all on their pc? Just wondering how popular it is

I'd get him some good speakers!

I would get a headset instead of speakers, but each to their own. Mouse and Keyboard is fine he doesn't need a gaming one, and I would get him the Humbe Bundle before it runs out.
