I really dont see it as pirating I gave them the money

Nobody cares what you see it as, especially when what you see it as is factually wrong.

Who cares? Why do you need our validation for anything? If you want a copy that way then go for it.

The law doesn't.

Also why make a topic if you're going to ignore people's answers and continue with your own little delusions?

It would be called pirating, but I think nobody cares if you own the original. If one of those MAFIAA knocks on your door, you can show you have paid for the original and you are too stupid to become a hacker to be able to circumvent the DRM yourself. The police should leave you alone.

If you want to talk extremes, other than in the US, the worst that will happen to you -> assuming you're not the one putting up torrents -> is hardly scary. Downloading a game you don't own (or a music, etc) is not really a "crime".

I completely forgot any details on this, I remember reading a few detailed posts, so this isn't coming from myself. In Canada, the worst that could basically happen is I'd have to pay a few hundred bucks. US has you scared, though.

I dont ignore answers that give a interesting retort, however I do ignore answers like yours that have to devolve into insults by saying someone has delusions.

Are you saying I'm wrong?

You asked if it was pirating. You were told it was. Then you said
"Well I don't think it is".

And that's totally fine. You have every right to choose not to believe facts, and instead believe something that is wholeheartedly and varifiably wrong.
