GTX 650 As Dedicated phys Processor?

Is it worth it?

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

Depends on what graphics card you already have. You need hacked drivers to use a dedicated PhysX card with AMD cards IIRC. It might be okay with Nvidia cards though.

Either way, I don't think a dedicated PhysX card would be worth it

I have a 7970 which has advanced physics locked in some games. I know about the Physx Mod but for some reason everything suggest a GtX 460 which is more expensive than a 650 for and reason

The GTX 460 is still better than a GTX 650, that's probably one reason why. The GTX 650 Ti, however, is better than the GTX 460.

I have a 650ti for my dedicated physx. Works really well! I'm sure 650 is adequate, people just like to overkill when they recommend cards.

My nephew's computer has gt 640 as main card and 9800gt as physx card on a q6600 and he's able to run planetside 2 at high with physx 30-60fps. I used the gt 640 as a physx card for a while and I havent noticed a difference since I upgraded to a 650ti

I don't really think dedicated PhysX cards are worth it considering basically no games really use it.

I wouldn't buy a dedicated physx card, but it's worth considering keeping your old card for physx if you're upgrading.

Ok I was misunderstanding all the guides. I thought it had to be a box card since everything kept recommending the 460.

I have an old GT 610 I'll give a try.
