Looking for best 27" monitor

#11GoIrish80Posted 8/27/2013 8:10:48 AM
The "best" 27" monitor under $250 really isn't going to be that great regardless of what you pick, so just find one and go with it.

Man, I bought the AOC i2757 a few months ago and it's great. 1080p, $300. It's pretty much as low as you can go, it's worth spending the extra $50

The best monitor for the price is probably the Asus PB278Q.

I just got one a few weeks ago myself. Have to agree. The Dell U2713HM is a good one too, but it's more expensive and a worse value, really. Some people are comfortable buying those cheap Catleap monitors on Ebay, but I want support in case something goes wrong with my monitor, personally.

I've been looking at it for a future purchase when I build my desktop. It's semi-glossy right?

Yeah. It's not glossy enough that I have any glare problems, but not matte either.

The first one I got did have a defect (small glowing area for no reason) but they replaced it immediately and the new one has been great. So, if you get a defective one, exchange it ASAP.

Any 27" monitor for $250 is going to be a piece of crap really. You'll have to look for the Korean ones that will only have DVI and no other inputs, etc.

-_- that monitor is $600

I don't know what you expect. The nicer things are, the more they cost. Any 27" monitor you can buy for $250 is going to be crappy.
