Its the Q. Once again he is pulling all this out of his ass. Why do people even bother?

We just keep doing the wrong thing until it turns out right.

LOL..i have been right on every amd release for many years, the 9970 already blows away the titan and the 780 lightning

theirs leaked benchmarks, theirs leaked specs, and you know what? i've seen a crossfire setup run battlefield 4 on a 4k hdtv

i think it's nice

the 9970 is going to beat this card in price (less than $600), it's going to be at least 4gb gddr, it's going to be dx 11.2, and it's faster than the titan and 780 lighting

will be getting this card

It's hard to justify a $50 premium over the Classified with all the delays and that ugly cooler. Dat PCB tho.

It's easy make any card run at 100%, it's another thing for it to be optimized.

Holy crap! Judging by that fire strike test, it beats the Titan by a pretty good margin... and for $250 less? Ummm. Yeah. This will be in my next build.

Beat? It scored 11k in graphics for FS, I scored nearly 13k in graphics with a Titan with older drivers to top it off.

True, a custom fan profile and +100 on the core is all it takes for a Titan SC to score ~12K in graphics. Come to think of it, it almost sounds like last year's "my 670 OC beats a (vanilla) 680 hands down." Yes, it does until you OC the 680. In any case, there's no arguing the Lighting is a much better deal than the Titan. The card itself looks much nicer too I think.

It's a better value, about the only time the Titan would come into play would be if you're trying to use 2560x1440 in surround, which irrc. Crysis 3 for an example hit 6gb vram in that setup.

but for me the Lightning isn't a better value in a sli setup since I could buy another Titan used for $800.
