I'd really have to *want* a game badly for me to purchase it on Origin.
I generally won't buy standalone games on PC anymore. So yeah, most of the time I prefer games to be on Steam. Obvious exception is Blizzard games.

If it's not on Steam, it's really difficult for me to get. GOG is an option, but because there are no prepaid cards for GOG, it means I have to use a prepaid credit card, which means GOG games are a lot more expensive than Steam games (since Steam now has prepaid cards in Canada that have no tax and are worth their full value in American dollars...om nom nom).
Origin however, I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. It's just too nasty to use, and supporting it encourages the industry to have each publisher own their own DRM storefront :/
