Im not even sure if the video im connecting it to is working. i placed an old video card in there, so idk if the DVI is even working...

I dont know what the video connection is on the back of the mobo... anyone with experience know what it is?

The blue one underneath the PS/2 ports.

Yea, but what is that? My VGA cable wouldnt work on that.

It's a VGA connector.

I know what the PS/2 ports are. I dont know what the video is.

Huh. It's not quite a VGA port on closer inspection. (Edit: It looks like an older serial port, like you would use for an older printer. It's been a long time since I've actually seen one)
It almost looks like you're supposed to use the yellow composite port for a video connection.

The yellow RCA connector is Coaxial digital audio.

And who could mistake a serial port with VGA?? XD
