Is 15mbps good enough? (Opinions needed please)

I've been using 1.5mbps AT&T DSL for the last 8 years and I plan to switch to Time Warner 15mbps Cable Internet. Would you guys say that's fast enough for gaming and internet browsing? I browse on sites that have a lot of videos and graphic like GameTrailers, Kotaku, Gamespot e.t.c. I also don't want to have to unplug my internet if I'm playing online on my 360.

For games the amount of mb your connection has is not important, what matters is the ping your connection has, that is what makes games laggy.

You just don't know the joy of 50 mbps. You wouldn't be able to go back if you ever upgraded.

Yeah I checked my ping and that seems fine at least according to speedtest. I playonline on my 360 a lot and also use the internet alot. At times I would have to decide either to use the net or playonline with my 360...can't have both because I'll probably loose connection to the game if my internet is on. Also at this speed videos shouldn't buffer at all and I should be able to watch HD versions right? I always had to set the video quality to 244p or less or else it would just sit there an buffer then play for a second to two and then buffer again lol.

I just switch to 1.5 DSL and was using 768K for like forever because that was all I could get.
