Won't that wide resolution be weird for playing games on it? --- Cosair 540 Gigabyte Z87X-D3H i5 4670k H100i Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB Sapphire Vapor X HD7950 Samsung 840 120GB SSD HX650

No, it's actually pretty cool. It also depends on how far away you are from the monitor.
Games are usually more immersive in 21:9. There's more peripheral vision. If you have an Nvidia card, you can set a custom resolution of 1920x810 to test it out. It's pretty much the same thing, but the resolution is obviously lower and the picture is smaller because the monitor isn't designed to display a 21:9 image.
I've been eyeing that monitor myself. I'm really interested in 2560x1080 monitors, but unfortunately I already spent a boatload on the rest of my system, so it'll have to wait. Hopefully those monitors are still around a few years from now. Unfortunately, they're not very popular. --- http://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs/55488_o.gif http://www.d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y.com/

The games that I play don't support 21:9. No thanks. Would prefer 120hz over that for now. --- In the chronicles of my life there is a legend in which I change 'history' into 'herstory'.

No curved panel? Also, don't most games support pretty much any ratio that isn't completely insane? --- Want that Shield! Ball and Cup on ps mobile has framerate issues. -stargazer64

More pixels = more better. I got my 1440p for less than that. --- #1 LoL Poster NA: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954437-league-of-legends/63627116
