Play CS in some casual servers (non deathmatch) and you'll get better in no time.

I actually find deathmatch better for this kind of thing, unless they changed the meaning of deathmatch from the CS:S days. There's constant action and it's coming from all over. It really helps you hone your mechanical skills and reflexes.

Don't have to be CS actually, just any of those online FPS will do, Project Blackout (aka Point Blank depending on your country), Cross Fire, Alliance of Valiant Arms, and many others are good points to start.

my first real dip into PC was minecraft, that is basically what got me used to mouse and keyboard, then various Arma2 mods is what helped me master Mouse and keyboard. honestly once you master it, it is damn hard to go back to a controller.

I see your point but when it's round-based you care about staying alive and staying focused. It's better training.

I still haven't gotten used to it and I've been pc gaming since 2009. Instead I use my PS2 and PS3 controllers.

At the end of the road if you like KB + Mouse fine and is great you find it ok, but if not, use a Gamepad, nobody will judge you... personally I find the KB + Mouse to be terrible

I'll judge the **** out of you and you confirm you're scrub status in FPS for life.

That might help give you better habits and tactics, but will not work better for getting used to a new input device since you would just be using it less.

All it does is make you play less the less skills you have. Its stupid training.
