And it beats the Titan in some games.

Still $750 is a steep price. You guys think its worth it? Or should people stick with a cheaper 780, or indeed wait until the next AMD cards

I want it, but I think I wait for AMD 9000 series next month before I make a decision, or at least the price drop.

You can get better than Titan performance by running 2 760s in SLI for about half the cost of a Titan. The only real issue is that that setup only has 2GB of VRAM.

The 8000 series cards are re-branded 7000 series cards given to OEMs so they could have something "new" to put in their computers. AMD's new graphics card line will be the HD 9000 series which should release in September or October.

Better off getting the Classified, for $50 less. The Lightning from the review doesn't overclock well at all, not for it being a "lightning"

meh, I was going to pick up two of them but think I will go for the classified myself, hell.. I might just pick up a PS4(I have one on preorder for launch edition) and wait until the 880 series since only a few games I can't max with a Titan(My Titan performed 20% better in the benchmarks as the Lightning)

Why do they insist on putting that ugly plastic wart on the backplate?
