I use a bootable usb stick with a restoreprogram installed on that copies windows from an image of a clean installatiion of windows that has every driver and program I need installed on already.
Takes like 1 minute to boot up and initiate the restore process and 2 minutes to restore the system.

I built my own computer and paid $525 and it's a powerhouse.
If your computer is such a powerhouse, then why does a little bit of extra RAM that norton uses matter? lol
