Blood Bowl: Star Coach is a free-to-play game currently in beta (check it out on Steam). What makes this different from regular Blood Bowl is it focuses on overall strategy rather than individual tactics. In fact, it appears you don't make any decisions in-game. You develop your team and fine tune your plays in the locker room and then let them loose against the other team and watch the chaos (hence the CH similarity).
Challenge other players and if they don't decline within two hours the teams will automatically play a match against each other. Sounds like a neat and easy MP alternative. Don't have to worry about players taking long turns or rage quitting or any of the countless other problems that arise when interacting with randoms. --- well I am not like your dad.
