As of today, shortly after I open a new browser window I automatically get redirected to btosjs.info, which seems be some sort of search engine (or pose as one at least). Must be something I clicked.

Anyone familiar with this and know how to stop it from happening?

Thats how you prevent it along with noscript, adblock plus and a competent antivirus. How to remove it? Try malwarebytes or some other antimalware program. Don't surf the net unprotected.

Thanks for the tips. I already had Adblock installed, but Noscript seems to have fixed the problem.

Also, see if you can uninstall it using Control Panel.

Already did, nothing there. Still, it's a good thing for the checklist for when stuff like this happens.
