Looking to use my monitor for PS3, but how do you get the audio?

There's no AUX or headphone jack in it. Is there some kind of adapter I should be looking for?

HDMI transmits audio along with video, so get a monitor with built in speakers.

Plug in the standard Y/W/R cables into the PS3, get a Y cable from monoprice, and plug your computer speakers into that.

In the PS3 settings, set the audio output to analog or whatever they call it.

You use the HDMI cable for the display.

Video -> HDMI
Audio -> Red and White cable

This is what I do for my setup :

1. Buy a AV switchbox from a electronic store.
2. Plug your HDMI cable from your PS3 to your monitor for display.
3. Plug your computer audio in to the switch box, you will need a adapter for this unless your PC speakers came with this.
4. Plug your PS3 AV cables in to the switch box.
5. Setup audio in your PS3 settings for Audio to AV.
6. Flip the switch to alternate between PC or PS3 sound.
