hdd making wierd chirping noises

bought a new desktop hdd a few weeks ago and had to return it because something was off balance and was vibrating loud enough to hear it over the tv when it was secured and exchanged it for a new one and this one is making a odd metalic chirp/beep/grind sound that i actually thought was a bird outside until i shut the window

it happens randomly but is most noticable when my pc idles and almost never happens when doing most other things and i did a diskcheck and ran seatools and both came up with no errors

should i return this one and get another new(and different brand)
Why is the rum always gone?- Captain Jack Sparrow

The noises can be normal. I also have a Seagate drive that makes high pitched noises sometimes. It's most noticeable when spinning up or down and when I push the drive really hard. If it's happening in a constant pattern or all the time, then that might mean a problem. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
