Huh. Does anyone else prefer Origin?

I prefer Steam, but I've been on Steam since 08. Ignoring the fact that EA owns it, there is nothing wrong with Origin.

There is nothing wrong with EA

This statement is bad and you should feel bad.

Definitely prefer Origin over steam.

Don't know why EA offered to buy steam (correction: Valve) for $1 Billion. They could do better.

But I like the simplicity of Origin's design; it doesn't feel cluttered, being more streamlined. It also seems a lot faster than Steam as an application.

Why does that remind me of an apple product. This is how you trick people into buying your crap.

You have to trick people into buying a product that they like better?

Oh and remember that steam is the industry leader in phasing out physical copies of games. At least Origin offers physical copies of the games it sells and at no extra cost. (Although there is a discount for digital copies)

Online is the way of the future its still has a while to get there, when everything is like ghost in the shell. I honestly wonder if people are trolling when they say origin is better than steam

I'm in Germany right now and that means I have to use Origin's regional store. That's not the problem - Steam's the same. What the problem is, is that, unlike Steam, Origin doesn't give you the option of changing the store's language to english. And that bugs me. Enough to not want to use it at all.

Also Origin seems much slower for me than Steam.

At least in Germany you get the "good" EULA.

We also got the sucky store. While EA in general has pretty bad sales most of them are US only and we only get some crappy ones.
