I want a monitor to replace my 1680x1050 that I am currently running with a GTX480 so I am down to these four. Gaming is the most important aspect for me. Please give me your input on these four monitors as I would ideally like to order one this weekend unless you can recommend on that will be better than any below. Thank you!

Max budget is $270.

1st: this is the most pricey and my top dollar but I don't know if spending the extra money is worth it. Love the adjust ability
Dell UltraSharp U2412:

2nd: Is the previous ones smaller screen, but at a much better price it seems like it would be better. Advice? Love the adjust ability
Dell UltraSharp U2312HM:

3rd: Seems to have great reviews and the cheapest of the 4.
Asus VS247H-P:

4th: I love the small bezel but not sure if I like the metallic bottom; however, I will love it if it is worth it.
Asus MX239H:

i have two of the asus VS229 and VE228. Both great monitors but i wish i wouldve jumped up to the MX239 version. But thats only because i was going for triple monitors. If it is just to replace something and start fresh i would reccommend the VS model or the Cheaper Dell. No reason to pay

VS229
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS229H-P-22-Inch-Class-21-5-Monitor/dp/B005S0XYKK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1377889570&sr=1-1&keywords=vs229&tag=01u-20

VE228
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VE228H-21-5-Inch-Integrated-Speakers/dp/B00413PHDM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1377889612&sr=1-1&keywords=ve228&tag=01u-20

Both great monitors but the 228 is alot "duller"

oh and the stand on the VS229 is kinda wobbly

Get the U2312HM, or if you want a 1920x1200 monitor, the U2412. That would be the same aspect ratio (16:10) as your current 1680x1050 monitor, if you care about that. Both are fantastic monitors.

I love 16:10. I would also like to add the monitor I actually use to this fray:

It is exceptional and a counter to the Dell one for less money. More options. =)

I have 2 Dell UltraSharp U2312HM.

I bought 1 earlier this year with the plan of getting 2. I got the other shortly after since they are always going on sale for sub $200. They work great and look great, nice build quality and the rotation is a bonus I use sometimes. Nice eIPS panels.

Also, about your small bezel comment, I would LOVE a truly small bezel and was going to look for the smallest but there's just nothing out there that is really tiny without taking the case off the screen. Even the one you posted has a 10mm bezel, the photo the guy added is without the case, and NEVER believe the product photo with small bezels.. the screens are almost ALWAYS photoshopped on.

I have 2 U2412M, both are very fantastic monitors. You might also consider on of those Korean IPS/PLS monitors that go for $300-400 for a 2560*1440 resolution 27" model. I believe there's even a seller in the US, so you don't have to worry about expensive returns.

The U2312HM has ridiculously low input lag, so from a gaming perspective it's probably your best choice.

Thanks for the input guys. It seems that the U2312HM would be the best choice. Basically the U2412 is the same in terms of input lag and all that correct? obviously not the 16:10

Those Koren panels seem nice but a bit out of my current price range. I also remember the input was odd to run them from the GPU.

I thought the response time was a bit slow, no?
