I found FF7 on PC at a thrift store, can anyone answer my question?

I know a lot of the times discs are usually missing when you buy games that have multiple discs at thrift stores/pawn shops ect, but I was wondering. I did google it, and someone said that it has 3 discs, plus the install disc. I am just wanting to confirm if this is true or not? I got FF7 with the 3 game discs including the install disc. Is this correct?

Correct, I checked my set of the late 90's version and it's 4 discs, 3 game and 1 install.

Nice! my copy came in separate cases. So no label or manual. But is the game worth anything? I already have the playstation version and I was wondering if it was any different.

Hmm f*** I honestly can't remember. I haven't played the PC version since probably 2002. I imagine from what I hear it's better than the newest release but that may be because the music has been messed with.

Yes, the PC version has a redone translation (no more "This guy are sick") and much, much, MUCH worse music.

By 'worth anything' do you mean in a monetary sense? Because without the case, manual, or installer disc you'd be lucky to get back what you gave for it.

I'd say the PC disc version has virtually no value as you can now get FF7 from both Steam and SquareEnix's online store.

You will probably want to look into different music mods because the PC version has a way worse quality soundtrack for some reason.
