Thoughts on the Asus Zenbook Infinity?

With Windows 8.1 supposedly fixing the scaling issue for high-resolution monitors, is the Infinity going to be THE ultrabook to get? Ironically, of the ones I'm looking at, the Macbook Air is the cheapest one; however, I am not used to OSX and for right now I don't really have the time to get to know it very well (and the resolution aggravates me: why didn't they make it 1600x900?!)

Otherwise, I was considering the Lenovo T440s and maybe the Lenovo U430 Touch, along with the Samsung Ativ Book 9 plus (but the Intel HD 4400 turns me off).

What do you guys think? Will the Infinity be the best choice presuming Windows fixes the scaling issue? No doubt it will come with quite a price tag, but it's stylish, I assume aluminum (so durable), has some power along with battery life, and will hopefully last me the better part of a decade.

I'm holding out to see what the Macbook Pro refresh looks like, since as of right now the Retina versions are only slightly thicker than the Air's, but still really an ultrabook.

It's a beauty for sure. Being covered in Gorilla Glass is pretty damn cool and makes it very scratch resistant. The Ativ Book 9+ is pretty interesting because its 3200x1800 resolution allows for perfect scaling to 1600x900. It's on pre-order on Amazon for $1400, but other than the screen, the other specs aren't anything to brag about.

At the end of the day, I'd prefer it if the resolution didn't go beyond 1080p for these 13.3" Ultrabooks. My ideal Ultrabook would probably a 15.6" with a 2560x1440 resolution.

I have it and its pretty nice and fast. The 128gb SSD is pretty small though and Zenbooks have charging problems.

What? Are we talking about the same laptop?

This one hasn't been released yet, as far as I know. Can't even find reviews.
