Is there any point in adding memory to my laptop if my CPU is lol-quality?

Laptop specs:

4GB memory (3.6 useable)
AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics, 1.65 ghz
64 bit (if that means anything)

I was gonna have RAM installed but my processor maxes out just running something like a video converter, so I figured it might be useless. What would extra RAM help me out with, exactly?

More ram won't really do squat for you. In fact, not many people need more than 4-6 GB of ram, the only reason they have more is that it's cheaper than dirt.
