Building new PC... do it now or wait for steamroller and radeon 8000 series?

I usually go with intel for CPU, but I've heard the new AMD CPUs may be better for gaming.

Ask on Tom's Hardware. GameFAQs is plagued by Intel and Nvidia fanboys who won't give you an honest assessment.

Do you live in the USA? If so, at this point you might as well wait for black friday at which point the 9000 series will be out anyway (8000 is being skipped for normal consumers).

Black Friday is about 3 month away, though.
After which point, if you wait 3 more month, Maxwells should begin arriving, etc etc.

Ah, anyways, unless AMD pulls out a miracle, Intel cpu probably aren't going to be dethroned anytime soon.
