Just read this while researching: "NVIDIA based graphics cards which carry a DVI-I connector are fully compatible with flat panel LCD monitors which typically have DVI-D cables."http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/221/~/what-is-the-difference-between-dvi-i-and-dvi-d%3FThe only difference between DVI-D and DVI-I is that DVI-I carries a digital and analog signal as opposed to only digital. Also from that link:"The DVI-D cable will only read the digital signal from the DVI-I connector on the graphics card and ignore the analog signal."At most you would need to get a converter, but I doubt it would be necessary.Btw, go ahead if you have someone to give your old monitor to. There is little risk as there are warranties on these monitors.
What's the price on Amazon?
cuteboi100 posted...What's the price on Amazon?$310. I am just worried since on the reviews and sites it says "PC graphic card must surport Dual link DVI.".
