QNIX QX2710 Evolution II is it worth taking a risk on one?

My qnix is awesome, got it for 280 shipped off eBay. I got a $30 stand off amazon and couldn't be happier. Over clocked to 96hz and no stuck or dead pixels with only a bit of backlight bleed. I couldn't go back to 1080p tn panels for a main screen now.

Maybe you should buy from here

Why from there? do they avoid extra fees?

They're a middleman based in the US. Much better than having to deal with Koreans in Korea whose English is barely passable (no offense, just making a statement based on what I've seen). Plus check their return policy and the warranty they offer, it's pretty good.

So that's basically the best Korean panel I can get for the price right?

Yeah, you don't need to pay premiums to get an overclocking panel like you do the LG IPS's in catleaps and other IPS monitors from Korea. PLS panels are pretty much just Samsungs implementation of IPS so they are fairly close as far as image quality goes to LG's IPS's. Plus they are usually $30-40 cheaper.

Ugh, I don't think I can. From the site "Please use DVI-D port only. cannot used with DVI-I or DVI-S. Also cannot be used by port converter. (D-sub, HDMI, DP)"

It should work with any dual-link DVI port

I just purchased one a month ago to replace my 1080p tv. Best purchase I have made in years. Better than when I switched to my SSD. Highly recommend. Look so beautiful. The built in speakers are pure **** though. I mean BAD! Just fyi.
