Watch Dogs demoed at PAX Prime

Game looks good! They showed off the multiplayer aspect through mobile. One person was on an iPad, the other was on PC. Mobile got to activate traps and helicopters and stuff. PC player had to complete the objective without dying. Looked like a lot of fun. One thing I noticed was graphics were severely downgraded since it's unveiling.

No link. This is from my own mouth. We couldn't have phones or cameras or recorders in hand when we entered the room.

They probably had it set to low, or medium not to upset the console-only crowd too much. ;-)

I can't imagine them lowering the graphics for it, lol.

The game looked gorgeous when it was announced. No sense lowering them now.

What do you mean by that? I thought farcry 3 looked quite good. I didn't look at much footage early in its development though. Did it look much worse than their target renders earlier on or something?

The difference is quite noticeable lighting and vegetation wise.

Exactly. I remember being pretty disappointed with how it turned out.

Yeah that is quite the difference. Glad I didn't see that until now or I might not have thought of it as my GOTY 2012. Probably would have been disappointed. At least its gameplay held up unlike that bioshock infinite demo they showed...

Thanks for the video.
