@Fade2black001

Eh, so far it's doing everything I want/need, so I'm not complaining.

Don't worry about Fade2black. That guy always has an issue with something. Glad you're liking your new laptop!

Ok fade2black your full of it and I'm calling you out!

How is it crap? Why don't you post one example of how he could have done better?

I'm in the middle of research to find a laptop for my wife and the HP Envy sleekbook is rated and reviewed well, it has a great price, and it even made the best of lists of many websites that review laptops for its price range! I'm not saying its the best ever but it might be the best laptop for the price it's at.

I looked at the specs of an the Envy and it has an A6 Dual core CPU in it with 7500G integrated graphics. An Intel HD 4000 beats a 7500G in performance. So Pretty much any I5 2.5, 2.6GHZ Laptop is going to beat that thing in terms of performance. You can find many of these for 600 or less. Also HP has crappy tech support as well.

It's the whole package not just the CPU- the envy is touch screen- it's built well- it's fashionable, it's borderline an ultra book in size and weight.

Not everything is about the cpu

Wow...... Touch screen and fashionable? Sacrifice performance for this?!? REALLY?!? If you care about how a laptop looks when you carry it around then you need help. Touch screen is a useless thing unless one HAS to have for some reason. Otherwise for Performance its a POS for 600 bucks. You told to find a better computer and I did. I found a lot of them. Better in my book means performance not this crap about fashion and a touch screen. I sure hope hole people LOVE cleaning their screen everyday to get rid of the prints.

You're the only person I have never seen someone who cares whether or not if their computer looks "fashionable", until now. Give e a break.... This is funny.

You must be one of those people who keeps up on fashion and all the "in" things if you care about your computer looking "fashionable". Seriously this too funny

I'm done now.

I think that still doesn't justify the price.

A bit too late, but for what you wanted, you could have probably purchased a $500 laptop. Not saying that you SHOULD have, if you can spend the money, I really prefer the more portable/lighter approach than a big bulky cheap laptop. But in terms of power, you could have bought anything and been able to run light games and office.
