About to build a PC, just some general questions

Basically, what I'm looking at is

i7 4770k($280)

MSI Z87-G45($95)

CoolerMaster HAF912 -or- Corsair 300r ($60 or $70)

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 ($70)

ASUS DRW-24B1ST Internal DVDR/RW Burner - OEM ($20)

Other than the case and maybe the motherboard, I'm pretty set on these things. I'm mainly wondering about a hard drive, CPU cooler and power supply

I found a Toshiba hard drive that is 2TB, 7200 RPM, SATA 6.0, 64MB Cache for under $100:,200_RPM_SATA_60Gb-s_Desktop_35_Internal_Hard_Drive_PH3200U-1I72

Is this a good hard drive?

As for a CPU cooler, I dont mind spending $50-$80, I want one that has thermal paste pre applied so I dont have to worry about it.

And as for the Power Supply, I want to get a 750-850 Watt, so I'll have some room to work with in the future if I go the SLI/Crossfire route. Don't really know what to get.

I'm probably going to buy most of the parts at Microcenter, but I do have $100 in credit with Amazon that I can use to buy a few things, maybe the Cooler, OS or PSU.

Wanting preapplied paste is kinda silly and the only ones I'm aware of are stock coolers. When you buy a cooler, it comes in a little syringe, literally all you do is put about a grain of rice on it, if you can put the rest of the computer together without screwing up you can handle the paste.

The 212 evo is a really great value, obviously you can spend more and get something better but the evo is enough for most people.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

Get an SSD. I'd downgrade the CPU to an i5-4570k for it. The i7 is really only needed for professional work that makes use of the hyperthreading such as video editing, but you'd want an SSD in that case anyway.

For a storage drive, I like the Seagate 4TB drives. They're 5900rpm but transfer just as fast as 2TB WD Blacks because of their 1TB platters.

What video card do you have in mind?
-What is best in life?
-To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Is there a good, thick 140 water cooler that will work in the HAF? I would get this, but I dont think it will work in the HAF912:
