Good upgrade from a Q9450

Q9450 @ 3.6 Ghz
4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
1.1KW Thermaltake Tough Power

Been running my setup for about 5 years now minus the additions of the graphics card upgrade last year, surprisingly I still get what I want out of it performance wise with the games Iím playing.

Iíll be upgrading the whole thing apart from the PSU and GPU, thinking of getting a intel Core i5 4670, S 1150.

Wonít need the 4670K as I wonít have time to overclock anymore.

Get a sabertooth z87 and a 4670k, add a pre filled liquid cooler as well
Not changing this sig until a Kid Icarus Uprising sequel is announced. Started: 01/01/2013

A 4670k is a much better choice. CPU's last for a long time, so don't be cheap about it now or you might regret it later.

What's the difference?
#8dmccappin(Topic Creator)Posted 9/4/2013 2:09:03 AM
Isn't the only difference that one is unlocked and the other isn't?

Won't have time to overclock? I didn't realize it took 20 hours a week.

When you work 50 hours a week, have a child, go to the gym and just want to relax and play some Dota.

Then NO I can't be bothered to overclock anymore.

I'll just google it.
