Help removing ~$50-100 Australian from a build (Need cheaper)

Current build, all being bought from MSY (msy.com.au)

x6 FX-6300 CPU $135
990FXA-UD3 MoBo $167
Kingston HyperX 2x4GB 1600MHz RAM $79
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD $69
Gigabyte 7790 2GB OC GPU $159
Corsair CC400R Carbide Mid Case $115
Antec HCG-520M PSU $104
SATA DVD RWSamsung DVD Reader $19
20 5ms LG E2042TC Monitor$115

Total price: $962AUSD

Can anyone help reduce to around $900? Any suggestions at all would be great.

you've already got pretty low end stuff there... Do you have an HDTV? if so you can drop off the monitor.

i would suggest hunting around for parts. when i built my computer i looked at like 6 different shops and the difference in prices for the total build was about 300 depending on where i bought the parts from.

Drop the case and drop to 4 gigs

PSU too expensive, drop to 520W antec like Neo or something.

That case is also abit pricey.. no doubt it is nice.. but.... hehe

you guys have to remember that in AUS, electronics tend to cost considerably more. This includes PC components

Some of the things are more expensive but not (much) better, so if they could be bought from MSY then that could also save money. I just listed them in this build to get an idea of the price. Does everything have to be from MSY?
