Good Enough to run Oblivion?

#1USMCinfinityPosted 9/3/2013 9:27:30 AM
Its a VAIO from 2010 Windows 7 64bit i5 BUT its an intel accelerated hd integrated card.

I REALLY want to buy the elders scroll anthology for Oblivion for now and maybe a new computer later for Skyrim.

Also stretching the rubber band, could it run skyrim on super low settings?

Can you download Speccy and post what's in your computer? Or you can post a link to the particular laptop.
If it's a 2011 computer, chances are it has a Sandy Bridge CPU, meaning Intel HD 3000, so it will run both Oblivion and Skyrim, but double-check what you have.

Maybe it would run low?

my 9600gt struggles at ultra (5 to 10fps dips), but runs smooth enough at high (though certainly not 60fps....)

Oblivion.

Skyrim is med/low with high textures and between 20-30fps. With 10-15fps dips in combat and dungeons with lots of fog (so I use a fog remover mod)

Oblivion doesn't have ultra in any of its settings.
