Xbox 360 controller cramps my hands...

#1War_God_IconPosted 9/3/2013 11:08:08 AM
Throughout my life I was a Playstation guy and always thought other controllers were weirdly designed. Since I've started PC gaming, I've been using a 360 controller for certain games. I get a painful cramp in my hand, knuckles and fingers when using the 360 controller. I was wondering if anyone else suffers from this and if you've found a solution for it? I was thinking along the lines of bigger controllers or better ergonomically designed plug and play controllers for PC.

You could just use a ps3 controller.

Install that and you can just use a Dualshock 3. With a cheap bluetooth dongle you can even use it wirelessly.

Or use keyboard and mouse, the ergonomically correct choice.

...wat? The 360 controller is larger than the PS3 controller, and is also better ergonomically.

See if you can get an old Duke controller to work.

I am surprised the 360 controller feels cramped/cramps you when it's bigger, I have the exact opposite issue.. you can use the ds3 or you could try one of the newer Logitech ones like similar, but better feeling like the f310 or f710. also have direct and x input from the jump as a bonus

Do you guys know if PS2 controllers were any bigger than PS3 controllers? I've never owned a PS3, but have seen the PS3 back buttons are worse than they were before.

I'll have to buy a USB PS3 controller and try Ds3 then. First though, does that program work with all games? Will it work with emulators?

Is the PS4 controller going to be bigger than the PS3 controller? If so maybe I'll wait for that.
