When do eBay auction prices increase most?

At the start?

Two days left?
Last day?
Last hour?
Last few minutes?

typically you have what's called snipers, they wait till the last few minutes then head in there and try to buy the product for cheap. If you don't do it that way you are doing it wrong.

Most people won't even touch the auction until the last day.

Then they spend the whole day bidding each other up like morons.

Most people don't technically snipe. They put in their MAX bid when they see it and hope that they don't have to go to it, or it is enough. So if you see a bid and then the same guy immediately overbids it you know you ahve a buyer that put in a good bid already that will drive the price up for you at the end. Sniping only works on stuff that nobody bids on and you happen to steal it at the end.
