So all the parts to build my new PC came today... except one

My case. The thing weighs like 30 lbs so I cheaped out on the shipping, but was it worth it!? No... should've paid the $100 premium for Newegg to teleport it over here.

;(

So many bad feels right now. All the glorious components are just sitting there in the box they shipped in without a place to call home. I hope social services doesn't take them away.

it arrived 3 days later.

You're fine though.

This gives you a great opportunity to build your pc ( sans the case ) to ensure all parts are working.

Once you know for sure that all your parts work as they should; you will have less worries to deal with when putting it in the case.

Not to mention that you can just take out the vid card/drives and put the board in your case when it arrives; thereby meaning you lost little time.

I'm kinda nervous about just leaving all the components laying around though.

My motherboard was the last part to come. I ordered from ncix.com since they had it for cheaper than Newegg. It said it was in stock, but apparently in stock means "on a truck coming to our facility that could take 3-5 days." So instead of taking 4 days to arrive it took 8, and it came in on Saturday but wasn't delivered til Monday.

I'm actually in the same situation. I just got all the parts I need for my computer today except the CPU. I won't have to wait long since that comes tomorrow at least.
