The GPU and RAM will probably be enough for that long. I can't comment on the CPU though since I haven't had experience with AMD CPUs.

A 7970 and 3570/4670k should keep you going strong for a good while.

If you're stuck with an AMD CPU build for whatever reason, at least make sure it's an FX-8350, not 8150. You should shoot for an Intel build.

The reason i aim for AMD is because i like the gpu a lot and i hear that the FX cpu series is pretty good, and the money is a big reason too.

Though i can see myself going as far as getting an AMD FX 8-Core Black Edition FX-9370 if i get a good deal in black friday. I can wait since iam not in a hurry.

And i dont know how to overclock anything haha, iam a big noob here, though i guess it shouldnt be that hard.

A good Intel cpu will do you better than AMD. Nobody says you can't mix brands. Take it from me (7970/3570k)

There's nothing wrong with the GPU, just the CPU. In some games it'll actually hurt you due to a much inferior core-for-core performance. If you want a long-lasting build, Intel CPUs will yield a better value currently. And the FX-9370 would just be a bad idea, honestly.

avoid the 9000's. Nothing more than a 8350 OC.

Oh i thought that mixing brands was a big nono, since i heard that AMD cpus and gpus are better optimized to work together, and the same with Intel and Nvidia.

Also would you guys recommend me to buy things on Amazon?? Is it safe for electronic things?
