Wait for the 800 series cards or just buy a 770 now?

The 800 series won't be out until sometime next year. What GPU do you currently have?

I bought a 770 on Wednesday last week after having the same internal question but decided my immediate need to upgrade so I could run 1440p and the whole "you'll always be waiting for something better" idea persuaded me to just buy it. It's a super charged 680 for 400, can't argue with that

personally I'm planning on waiting for the 800 series, but my video card is still decent enough for me atm.

What drivers do you guys use for nVidia? I just got a 760 can't decide to go with 320.46 or 320.80, apparently both beta?

I would wait if I were you. The GTX 770 is nothing special.

If you wait for the next thing to come out, you'll be waiting forever. Buy the best you can afford now.

If SLI is an option for you, keep that in mind for the future when buying your card.

320.49 is not a beta, it's been out for a couple of months I think. Using that driver with a 4gb 770, no problems.
