Cooler/RAM clearance issues

#1jakisthePosted 9/4/2013 12:32:41 AM
So I've a NZXT Phantom case and a Corsair H100i, but a few questions:

-the case has a 200mm fan on top, which for the life of me I can't seem to remove (although it's attached via normal screws, making me think it's removeable). This fan means I need to use a bracket to lower the radiator for the H100i, but the rad+the fans on it give me no clearance for my RAM. Help?
-The bracket is extremely wobbly, making me worried as to how it'll stand up when spinning. Heck, just moving the tubes tilts it to one side or another, and I've gotten blisters trying to tighten it...
-Which way do I want the airflow going? ATM I've got the fans blowing up, onto the radiator, and then up to the big 200mm on top, which I believe is bringing it out. Sounds good?
-The back bracket for the Corsairs mobo emplacement is very loose, and the screws don't seem to tighten it at all.

Biggest issue is the ram/fan conflict, but...yeah. Help?

(I did search, as it happens. http://www.overclock.net/t/1342994/h100i-nzxt-phantom-help http://darkgreenguitarist-tech-blog.blogspot.com/2011/10/problems-installing-corsair-h100-in.html and google images didn't really help, no one else seems to have issues with RAM spacing that isn't solved by bending the bracket...)

Well, I already have the case and cooler, so although that's an option, I'm still trying to see if there's anything else that can be done.
