1 easy to reach key vs 2 keys that are complete opposite of each other....
Mine is standard, yours is an aberration and an abomination.
And anyone with man sized hands can hit those keys.
What is this, 1996? A "windows" (or super/meta key if you want to be more generic about it) has been standard for a long time now. Also, there are a number of functions of the windows key that cannot be emulated with ctrl+esc. Any windows key shortcut, like Win+L to lock the console, cannot be executed with Ctrl+Esc. Ctrl+esc+L does nothing.
What if your using a non windows keyboard....
