GTAV REALLY needs to get announced on the PC....

Play GTA3 or SA.

Same one trick pony game pandering to mid 20's Soprano and high school gangsta rap wannabes. Slightly worse graphics. Hell of a lot cheaper.

Don't worry, I'll be playing it in less than 2 weeks, maybe I'll stop in and tell ya how much fun I'm having....

Yep. I'm not waiting for GTA 5. I game primarily on PC, but when we get stiffed on a game of this magnitude. Back to the console I go. When it comes out on PC, I will buy it again... but this game is a day one purchase no matter what.

This is why they won't announce the PC version until later. They know people want to play it and they're just wanting to get all the double sales they can get.

It will come, but it's not like any PCs are going to be capable of playing it when it comes out.

My PC will surely play it with much better quality than a PS360

He was making a joke about optimization.

GTA 4 wasn't that badly optimized tbqh. It's just that the highest end, max options were well over and more taxing than a normal PC game. If you ran it at "decent" or even high settings, it would run just fine. Problem is people with X60 cards want to be able to max everything. Not probable or possible.

I can't even get 60fps in the menus with my 670.

You don't seem to understand PC sales are much smaller...they release it latter because PCs are much esier to pirate, and since the game was designed for a 7 year old console, almost anyone has a pc capable to run it, so piracy kill sales. once the game has been sold on consoles, it will come to PC for aditional cash since there is no fee for publishing on pc

Source? I assume you have access to Steam's sales figures?

they release it latter because PCs are much esier to pirate,

Used to be a thing, it's really not any more though. Even Capcom and Ubisoft have been releasing their games on pc / console simultaneously as of late and those were the two biggest "delay the pc version by months / half a year" companies out there.

and since the game was designed for a 7 year old console, almost anyone has a pc capable to run it, so piracy kill sales.

Not necessarily so - they can do as much or as little with a pc version as they like. Look at Max Payne 3 - which is actually probably the most apt comparison since GTA 5's supposed to be running on the same engine.

Check EA and activision finantial reports

Another example s Skyrim
It sold 1 million on PC while 2 on PS3 and almost 6 on 360

However PC sales are growing faster than consoles http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/YAKms/2005-2012-pc-vs-console-gaming-population-growth-rates

Check EA and activision finantial reports

Is there some reason you picked stuff from 2011?

Here's the most current EA filing I can find.
http://news.ea.com/press-release/company-news/electronic-arts-reports-q1-fy14-financial-results

Go down to "Platform net revenue".

In Q1 2013 EA made 256 million from the 360, 238 million from the ps3, and 298 million on pc.

If you'd like to see it broken down over time a bit you can look here,
http://techreport.com/news/25136/ea-financials-show-growing-pc-game-revenue

But at the very least even without gloating (why would we? It's EA) that the pc is currently EA's most profitable platform you can see that their pc business is both growing and comparable to their console revenue streams.

For Activision / Blizzard
http://investor.activision.com/common/download/download.cfm?companyid=ACTI&fileid=681465&filekey=ea54543c-8a45-48fe-abe6-0b38e7bb3208&filename=ATVI_Q2_Press_Release_with_Tables_FINAL.pdf

From April - June of 2013 they made 151 million pc side, 234 million on ps3, and 248 million on the 360. Not exactly EA's level of success (Falling WoW subscriptions? CoD not being as big on pc?) but it's still a significant amount of their business.

Another example s Skyrim
It sold 1 million on PC while 2 on PS3 and almost 6 on 360

Again, no source.
http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=skyrim

Going by their numbers we have 7.4 million copies sold on the 360, 4.8 on the ps3, and 3 million on pc.

The problem with their numbers though is that they can only report on retail sales - Steam only gives sales figures to publishers / developers of their own games. And most of the pc gaming market these days is digital - if you simply assume that digital sales of the game matched retail pc sales would be smack inbetween the two at around 6 million.

(And we know it did *very well* on Steam, http://www.1up.com/news/skyrim-ships-ten-million-fastest-selling-game-steam)

Further sweetening the pot from the publisher's perspective are the much greater margins of digital sales versus retail as well as the lack of licensing fees. Without knowing the exact digital / retail breakdown we won't know if the pc version outsold the 360 version but we can easily say that it was more profitable.
