I have a trusty sony dvd burner and i don't want to change it. my enclosure died on me last night so i'm planning to buy that adapter instead. hence, the question.

i don't often use it. i only burn files on discs when there's not enough space on my HDD anymore.

i don't want to use an external hard drive for that matter since i had plenty bad experiences with those.
