Iam planning on being able to be gaming on very high settings for the next 5 years, so have that in mind.

I will be able to spend up to 250-300 on the cpu, and i might try to get one in black friday if i catch an offer on time. So wich Intel cpu would you guys recommend??

If you live near a microcenter you can get an i7 4770k for $280.
They are almost always running a deal where if you get a motherboard there as well you get an extra $40 to $50 off.

I like the i7 4770k idea, though i live in Argentina and i will be buying on Amazon.

Does that deal sounds fair to you guys? Maybe in black friday i can get it in Amazon for less.

That's pretty much the normal price.

You don't need hyperthreading for gaming.

Intel CPUs rarely go on sale for any significant amount, even on Black Friday.

If you're going through Amazon the i5 suggested is still a great gaming CPU (often considered the best gaming CPU for the price) and should last you for a number of years.

If this is only for gaming and general performance, get the i5. i7 won't help with anything at all.

That's not true at all. It will help in nearly every case.

The proper question is will it help enough to justify the increased cost.
