That 30GB download is bugging the hell out of me. The game has sat in my backlog for months, put off simply because of that massive dl. I have a feeling it's going to be a game I'll only ever place once too. Is there any option to just download the single player and not all the mp bs?

The game was pretty good IMO. The massive download is caused by the great looking graphics you'll get. Also quite an optimized game, works very well. I would just try it, not as good as Max payne 1 but still good.

I'm kinda doing the same thing with Battlefield 3.

Just got it from the Humble Bundle and that 20gig download has me procrastinating.

It must be downloading the cutscenes in real time.

have a handheld/iphone game on standby while playing because it's going to be a movie with some gameplay mixed in for at least the first half of the game... and not a very interesting one either unless you're really into that sort of thing.

Steam lied, it finished downloading about 25 minutes ago. Is there a setting on Steam that lets you tell it what type of connection you have or something? I think it assumes I have dialup
