Cities XL is a good game hampered by crappy programming. It never takes advantage of more than one core on your CPU, it eats up memory like crazy and after your population gets to a certain point the whole game slows to a crawl. :(

Farming Simulator 2013 is a fun game if you like building up from almost nothing and buying new equipment and new fields etc. Unfortunately there's not much to keep you playing it after you've built up your farm a bit since there's no competition for anything from the game. However, you can play co-op with a bunch of people online and then it starts being fun again... Even though I barely scratched the online game I put a couple of hundred hours into it.

I don't know anything about the rest of the games really.

Sherlock and Wargame series are really good if youre into those types of games. Divine Divinity and Divinity 2 are great as well.

Divinity looks really good...how is the story? And it's not generic like Skyrim, is it?

its almost like the anti skyrim. its combat can be janky and floaty, but does a good job of allowing you to build your character how you want. Its not full open world, but its handcrafted much better and offers more unique things to see. Its main story is solid overall (tho nothing particularly amazing), but it does have some cool unique mechanics you woudlnt expect for this type of game. its side quests however tend to steal the show with a lot of crazy setups and some great writing. Solid voice acting too. Also its loot is randomized so you can expect some crazy stats and effects on a lot of gear. a good 50-70hours of content. Divine Divinity is similar only in a diablo 2 style. Both are really good games.

if you like wrpg's in general then youll probably like it.

As always in game franchise...

...do I need to play Divine Divinity (I) to understand Divinity II? Is it continuation from 1 (like Baldurs Gate / Icewind Dale series), or is it just another game in the same universe/world (like Fallout / TES series)?
