Only get an ssd if you plan on re-installing the OS on it. --- http://i.imgur.com/J0lvB6S.jpg | http://i.imgur.com/DoHj9yA.jpg | http://youtu.be/YXkx-PSwbG4

SSDs are enormously faster than conventional hard drives, but they offer a lot fewer GB per dollar. That's really all there is to get. --- -What is best in life? -To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Oh so it might be a good idea to install 2 drives then?
An ssd with little space just to install the OS in that one so i can navigate much faster on my pc and another hhd with lots of space so i can move all my games, movies, etc there? --- Iam POPWW

As a curious coincidence I too am looking for new hard drives for the PC I'm building.
I don't know if it's the best idea, but I plan on getting 2 SSDs and one regular HD. One SSD will have the OS, the other will hold certain games, and the HD will hold everything else. --- The Garden Of Rama Arthur C. Clarke is the one true God.
